Cowl & Brush, publishing on a headless CMS

How editing works on the websites we build. The owner of a chimney sweep business edits her home page in a Strapi-style editor, previews the draft and presses Publish. The live page updates within seconds, with no developer and no rebuild.

Specification — What it does

Change your own website, safely.

  • Edit in plain fieldsHeadings, text, prices and FAQs are form fields, so you can't break the layout by accident.
  • Preview before it goes liveSee the draft exactly as visitors will, then publish when you're happy.
  • Live in secondsPublishing tells the website which pages changed, and only those pages are refreshed.
  • No rebuild, no developerEveryday changes are yours to make. You call us for new features, not for typos.
Notes — About this demo

What's real and what isn't.

  1. 01Cowl & Brush is a made-up chimney sweep in Ludlow. The editor is a simplified copy of Strapi, the CMS we use, and nothing you change is saved.
  2. 02The publishing steps it shows are the real ones behind our sites, this one included: Strapi sends a webhook, the site refreshes the changed pages and visitors get the new version.
