Detail B — Shop, checkout, orders

A shop you can run yourself, built to sell.

Whether it's your first online shop or one that gets visitors but not orders, we set it up properly: the platform, the product pages, payments, delivery and tax. Then we hand it over so your team can add products and run it day to day without calling us.

Notes — Choosing a platform

Three ways to build a shop, picked for how you sell.

  • ShopifyThe quickest route for most small shops. Payments, delivery and apps are built in, and your team can run it without technical help.
  • HeadlessShopify or Medusa behind the scenes, with a custom front end built in Next.js. For brands that want a faster, more distinctive shop than a theme allows.
  • MedusaAn open-source commerce platform we build on when your products, prices or processes don't fit an off-the-shelf shop.

Table B2 — How a shop project runs

Scoped first, so the quote matches the work.

Every shop is different, so we start by understanding yours before we put a price on it.

  1. R0Start

    Scope

We talk through what you sell, how you sell it today and what's not working. If you already have a shop, we look at it and its numbers.

    Plan

Platform, page structure, products, payments and delivery agreed in writing, with a quote for the work.

  3. R2Build

    Build and test

We design and build the shop, load your products and test real orders from start to finish.

  4. R3Launch

    Launch and hand over

The shop goes live, your team is trained, and the 30 days of support begin.

Notes — Where shops lose sales

Why visitors leave without buying.

  1. 01The product page doesn't answer the question they had: the size, the delivery date, the returns policy.
  2. 02Delivery costs appear for the first time at checkout.
  3. 03The checkout asks for an account, or too many details, before taking payment.
  4. 04The shop is slow on a phone, where most visits now happen.
General notes — FAQ

Questions about ecommerce.

Which platform should we use?

For most small shops, Shopify. It's quick to set up and easy for your team to run. We suggest headless or Medusa only when there's a clear reason, such as unusual products or pricing, or a shop that needs to look and perform beyond what a theme can do.

Can we add and edit products ourselves?

Yes. That's the point. We train your team before launch, and the 30 days of support cover the questions that come up once real orders arrive.

We already have a shop. Do we have to start again?

Not always. Sometimes the right move is fixing the product pages and checkout you have. If the platform itself is holding you back, our shop migration service moves you without losing products, customers or rankings.

Do you work with WooCommerce or other platforms?

We build on Shopify, headless set-ups and Medusa. If you're on another platform, we can still review the shop and help you move.

What does a shop cost?

It depends on the number of products, the design and what the shop has to connect to. We quote once we've agreed what the shop needs.
