Detail D — Workflows and automation

Stop doing the same task every day.

Copying enquiries into a spreadsheet, writing the same quote for the tenth time, pulling numbers together every Monday. We find the jobs that eat your team's week, automate the repetitive parts with the tools you already use, and add AI where it saves real time. A person still checks anything that matters.

Specification — The tools

Built with tools that fit the job.

  • n8n, Make and ZapierProven automation tools that connect most business software. We pick the one that suits your systems and budget.
  • Custom codeWhen off-the-shelf tools can't do it, we build the workflow ourselves, made for the way your business works.
  • The right AI modelOpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft or open-weight models, chosen for the task, the cost and how private the data is.
Table D2 — How a workflow project runs

Map the work first, then automate it.

Automating a messy process just makes the mess faster. So we look at how the work is done today before we build anything.

  1. R0Start

    Map

We sit with the people doing the work and map where the time goes, step by step.

  2. R1Plan

    Design

We agree what to automate, where AI helps, and where a person must check or approve.

  3. R2Build

    Build and test

We build the workflow, test it with real examples and run it alongside your current way of working.

  4. R3Launch

    Launch and watch

It goes live with alerts for anything unusual, your team is trained, and you get 30 days of support.

Notes — Ground rules

How we keep automation safe.

  1. 01A person approves anything that goes to a customer, commits money or can't easily be undone, unless you decide otherwise.
  2. 02Every workflow logs what it did, so you can always see why something happened.
  3. 03When something fails, someone is told straight away. Nothing fails silently.
  4. 04Client data is processed in the UK or EU, stored securely and deleted on request.
General notes — FAQ

Questions about AI workflows.

Will this replace our staff?

That's not the aim. It takes the repetitive work off your team so they can spend their time on customers and the jobs that need judgement.

Where does our data go when AI is involved?

Your data is processed in the UK or EU, stored securely and deleted on request. We keep it only for reference and your project archive. If you need a data processing agreement, we'll sign one.

What happens when something breaks?

You'll know. Every workflow sends an alert when it fails, and nothing important goes out without a check. During the 30 days after launch we fix problems as part of the project.

Do we need new software?

Usually not. We connect the tools you already use. If a tool is missing, we'll recommend one and explain why.

What does it cost?

It depends on how many steps and tools are involved. We quote after mapping the work, and we'll tell you about any running costs, such as automation or AI usage, up front.
