Conversational product search for a walking shop

Specification — What it does

Customers describe what they need. The shop finds it.

  • Reads a plain-English requestType "waterproof boots, wide fit, under £180" and the search turns it into filters you can see and change.
  • Explains every resultEach product comes with a short reason it fits, so customers don't have to open ten tabs to compare.
  • Shows the near missesProducts that only just missed, say a little over budget, are one click away instead of hidden.
  • Suggests as you typeAutocomplete offers products, categories and whole questions after a couple of letters.
Notes — About this demo

What's real and what isn't.

  1. 01Scarth is a made-up shop in Settle. The products, prices and stock are sample data.
  2. 02There's no live AI behind this demo: the answers are scripted to show how it would work. On a real shop we'd connect it to your catalogue and an AI model, with rules for what it may and may not say.
  3. 03The same idea works on any shop with more products than a customer wants to scroll through.
